The Forum would like to recognize the outstanding work done with the innovative use of web technology by state and local government in two categories: (1) those developed by state agencies, and (2) those developed by local government entities. The following awards were given:
Local Government
- Suffolk County Division of Information Services for Suffolk County Police Officer Examination Internet Application and Credit Card Payment,
State Government
- Insurance Department for Electronic Licensing for Agents and Brokers,
- Department of Motor Vehicles for DMV On-line Customer Service Knowledge Base.
