2005 IT Corporate Roundtable Annual Award for Excellence Winner

2005 IT Corporate Roundtable Annual Award for Excellence WinnerThe Goal of the IT Corporate Roundtable is the creation of an ongoing forum built on the basic principles inherent to the benefits realized through productive producer/consumer relationships, in a neutral environment operable at the policy level.

The diversity and energy that is the foundation of The Forum's educational and research initiatives are derived from the leadership and members of its various committees. As co-chairs and members of these committees, Corporate Roundtable members share in the planning, development and leadership of those programs.

Over the past year, a major concern of Forum membership and the Office of the CIO was centered on IT procurement issues and reform of the state's procurement process. Through the efforts of The Forum's IT Procurement Committee, a number of seminars and presentations were conducted for both operational and policy level staff. Noteworthy among those initiatives was a 2-day Procurement Seminar offered in conjunction with the NYS Office for Technology and a full day symposium developed and offered in conjunction with the Government Law Center at Albany Law School.
