2006 IT Corporate Roundtable Annual Award for Excellence Winner

2006 IT Corporate Roundtable Annual Award for Excellence WinnerThe Goal of the IT Corporate Roundtable is the context for an ongoing dialogue built on the basic principles inherent to the benefits realized through productive producer/consumer relationships.

The diversity and energy that is the foundation of The Forum's educational and research initiatives are derived from the leadership and members of its various committees. As co-chairs and members of these committees, Corporate Roundtable members share in the planning, development, leadership and delivery of these important programs. Each year Corporate Roundtable members recognize one of their members for exceptional contributions and designate that individual as the recipient of The Forum's IT Corporate Roundtable Annual Award for Excellence.

Through the efforts of The Forum's IT Procurement Committee, a number of seminars and presentations were conducted for both operational and policy level staff. Noteworthy among those initiatives was the Annual Procurement Seminar offered in conjunction with the NYS Office for Technology. The Committee also monitored and reported on the progress of the new Lobbying Law and was present at all of the hearings held on the sun setting of the Procurement Stewardship Act.

Roundtable members are very pleased this year to recognize the efforts of Peter Chynoweth, of CMA, for his contributions as a very active and effective Co-Chair of The Forum's IT Procurement Committee. Underscoring this recognition is the fact that Peter also served as the Co-Chair of the Small and Medium Sized Agency SIG and was instrumental in evaluating the direction and operation of the SIG which has resulted in its "re-missioning" for the coming year.

The leadership contributions offered by Peter Chynoweth exemplify the purpose and spirit of the IT Corporate Roundtable and its Annual Award for Excellence.
