The Summary should include a description of how the application being nominated meets the current NYS OFT Technology Standards and Guidelines. This section should also include a description of the team that was put together to design and implement the web site/application. Submitters are encouraged to include information that describes how they included their customers and users in the design effort.)

*Technology Overview: Describe the technical components of the site/application and explain how they are used to further the purpose of the site. This explanation should clearly identify how the developers made use of the technology to meet the program needs. The description should include details about innovative uses of the technology(s) used in the application and any technical partnerships or mentorship programs that were formed to move the project forward.

*Functionality: Describe how the site meets the needs of the developing agency's client base and how the site improves the delivery of services to this group. This section should include any innovative methods used to meet NYS Accessibility Standards. Submitters are encouraged to include any special steps taken to ensure economy of design.

*Efficiencies Associated with this Site: (Did the implementation of the site result in some savings or efficiencies for the government entity implementing the site. If so, please provide some detail. Did you use innovative funding sources or other innovative strategies that resulted in savings either in the design and implementation of the site or its continued operation?)

*Service to Customers: (Describe in detail how this application/web site improved the services that you offer your customers. Include any transaction processing that occurs or other specific services. Indicate the audience within the community; i.e., Business Partners, Organization Customers, Public at large. Submitters are encouraged to include in this section a description of how they identified users needs and ensured that they were met; (i.e., Focus Groups, Design Methodology, etc).)
