ITCR Meeting Minutes

Welcome and Introductions of all present - Leo

Discuss - special invited guests:
Breeyear, Dir of State Contracts, OSC
Bernie McHugh, Director of State Expenditures, OSC

This discussion, which lasted for 40 minutes, reviewed the status of the FMS, and what it will mean to agencies and vendors. Bernie talked about the importance of a central vendor file. ePay and self-service functions where reviewed. Advice was given on how to make inquiries, using Batch # and Voucher #. Call (518) 474-4868 to reach the OSC Help Desk.

Discussion was had on DOB and current funding of agency initiatives. The Contract approval process for OSC was reviewed. The VendRep system was discussed. Many encouraged the ITCR members to make use of this system.

Debriefing Rules where discussed. Considerable time was spent on the regulations and what that means to vendors. Vendors' rights and procedures were reviewed.

Discussion of the OFT/CIO Enterprise Agreements was next.

Web 2.0 was discuss, and this served as the Emerging Technology report as well.

The Executive Council Report was read, submitted by Joanne Riddett

Reminder that dues for the year are due Oct 1, 2009

Work Group Reports - New co-chairs will be installed 10/9/2009. 4 positions for Corporate co-chairs currently still exist: ET, Accessibility, Matrix, and SML.

All Work Groups provided a brief update.

IT Greening - upcoming seminar on Smart Grid
Procurement - focus on debriefing and enterprise agreements
Project Mgmt - review of the GTC session on PM
Security
SML - focus on strategic planning
Webmasters Guild - social media, presentations from Sch'dy Co and Senate.

Reminder to add yourself to the List Serve on the Forum web site to get updates on a particular Work Group.
