About

The IT Greening Work Group was created in response to interest and Statewide policies regarding greening and sustainability. The work group develops educational resources, programs and events focused on

  1. reducing overall information technology energy consumption,
  2. using information technology to achieve statewide greening goals,
  3. what can be considered during the acquisition and procurement of energy efficient information technology products
  4. how to manage the IT hardware end-of-life phase in an environmentally preferable manner.
