Conference Call Instructions
Copper Conferencing

 

NOTE: To use the Copper Conferencing phone conferencing system, Work Group Co-Chairs must preschedule the date and time of the call by contacting Rebecca Buchner at (518) 438-7414 or email rbuchner@nysforum.org

  1. Dial 1 (888) 387-8686. This is a toll free number.
  2. After the welcome, you will be prompted to enter your conference ID followed by "#". The conference ID 4435001 #.
  3. You will hear a message indicating your conference room is being validated. You are then added to or placed in a waiting room for inclusion when the call is activated.
  4. If you've called early, you will hear a message asking that if you are the moderator, press the "*" key. Only the moderator needs to enter the PIN# required to activate the conference call. Unless you are the moderator, you may ignore this step and stay on the line after being validated, as indicated in step #3.
    1. The Work Group Co-Chair moderating the call, must obtain the PIN# from Rebecca Buchner.

To mute, dial *6. You will be able to hear but will not be heard. You might want to mute your call if you are calling from a cell phone and experiencing static on your line. Dialing *7 will un-mute the call.
