MATRIX Committee Initiatives and Accomplishments

2004-2005 Key Committee Accomplishments

  • Changed name from ICEDP to MATRIX on 2/11/05
  • Conducted a career development seminar for NYS IT professionals
  • Conducted a seminar on "De-Mystifying Enterprise Architecture"
  • Monthly meetings held for IT managers

Projected 2005-2006 Initiatives

  • Increase focus on Program Committee deliverables
  • Align initiatives with NYS IT Strategic Plan (2)
  • Host seminars on other prioritized topics such as: (9)
    • Identity & Access Management
    • Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery
    • Incident Response
    • Civil Service (career development)
  • NEW (suggested at July 15th Strategic Planning Session)
    • Conduct a time management seminar (3)
    • Improve communications between MATRIX and other committees and their membership (3)
