About

The NYS Forum, in collaboration with its public sector members and representatives of the IT Corporate Roundtable, continues its focus on the essential issue of security. Since the fall of 2004, the committee has also expanded it's scope to encompass identity access management (IAM). This has become an increasingly hot topic to ease the management of security access to government information.

The objective of this Forum committee is to work in collaboration with state and local agencies to develop education and training opportunities and tools that address security issues. The committee is developing a working relationship in support of the NYS Office of the CIO and continues its strong relationship with the NYS Office of Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Coordination (CSCIC). The alliance with CSCIC has resulted in several security webcasts each year since 2003 that have now expanded to an international audience.
