Recovery Time Objective (RTO) – defines the tolerable maximum length of time that a business process can be unavailable.

Recovery Point Objective (RPO) – defines the maximum level of work in progress that can be lost.

 Critical / Vital Records – records or documents, that are irreplaceable; cause considerable inconvenience if destroyed; take considerable expense to recreate.

DR Plans should be developed in support of BCP, not separately.
