4	Corporate Roundtable Initiatives Business Continuity education programs including the Development of an automated Business Continuity Health Check; Development of programs and materials to enhance the policy and legislative understanding of the centrality of IT operations to government's core business; Participation on the NYS Procurement Councils' IT Work Group which has developed several strategies and recommendations for streamlining IT procurement; and Programs to assist state and local government organizations successfully navigate the sourcing life cycle;
5	Corporate Roundtable Results Participation in IT Procurement Work Group Web based Business Continuity Health Check Over 700 business continuity education sessions Began the conversation: a “neutral forum” for collaborative solution development to government problems Exposure lead to new business contacts (& business for some) Roundtable provides a means for the IT corporate sector to “speak with one voice”.
6	Corporate Roundtable Operating Principles Common ground/goals established based on NYS needs Information shared with all at the same time Equal voice in decision making; came to consensus Equal opportunity to participate & contribute to projects Equal opportunity to promote products & services Task forces established at monthly meetings as needed Taskforce leadership rotated based on interest & need
