  • Create a public- private sector forum for open effective communication

  •   13 charter member companies


  •   Monthly meetings as a group & sub groups as needed

Corporate Roundtable Initiatives
  • Business Continuity education programs including the
    Development of an automated Business Continuity Health Check;

    Development of programs and materials to enhance the policy and legislative understanding of the centrality of IT operations to government's core business;

    Participation on the NYS Procurement Councils' IT Work Group which has developed several strategies and recommendations for streamlining IT procurement; and

    Programs to assist state and local government organizations successfully navigate the sourcing life cycle;

    •  Participation in  IT Procurement Work Group
    •  Web based Business Continuity Health Check
    •  Over 700 business continuity education sessions
    •  Began the conversation: a “neutral forum” for collaborative solution   development to government problems
    •  Exposure lead to new business contacts (& business for some)
    •  Roundtable provides a means for the IT corporate sector to “speak with one voice”.

  • Agree on 2003 initiatives
  • Document the operating principles to keep process effective & informal
  • Address Roundtable membership parameters/promotion
  • Make a summary presentation of the outcomes of this discussion at the December 13th meeting of The Forum’s Executive Committee
