Change Manager
Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program

As a member of the SFS Program's senior Leadership Team, Michael directs the SFS Organizational Change Management initiative - managing the Deployment, Business, Communications, Publications, Training and Business Transformation Teams to ensure the successful implementation of the SFS at New York State agencies. He has 15+ years of executive experience in project management, overseeing medium- to large-scale projects and creating and leading new project management teams. In his positions with various national corporations and educational institutions, he has spearheaded brand development, new business and sales channel development, and strategic and marketing planning for new business models. Michael's expertise in defining subprojects and managing deliverables, establishing benchmarks for success, defining corporate reports for communicating strategy and progress, and managing business teams to budget expectations has significantly driven the progress of the SFS Program.

Alison Pingelski

Deployment and Business Lead
Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program

Alison manages the SFS Program's Deployment and Business Teams as they prepare New York State agencies for SFS implementation. She joined the New York State Office of the State Comptroller in January 2000 as a State Accounts Auditor in the Bureau of State Expenditures, working on many different audits and projects including the conversion of state credit cards to Citibank. She then joined the Office of General Services as the Director of the Project Management Office, where her projects included the business process improvement project with Procurement Services. Most recently, Alison was Special Assistant at the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, responsible for analyzing existing business processes and making recommendations for process improvements that contributed to reducing the backlog of licensing applications. A graduate of Siena College with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Alison is a Certified Project Management Professional and holds a certificate in Business Analysis.

Connie Rowe

Deployment Manager
Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program

As Deployment Manager for the SFS Program, Connie oversees the team of SFS Deployment Liaisons who work closely with New York State agencies to prepare for SFS implementation. She has 25 years of experience in the technology sector, previously serving as Account Executive for Computer Aid, Inc. and Software Product Operations Manager for Digital Equipment Corp., as well as in positions with other technology companies doing business with state and local governments, Fortune 500 companies and educational institutions. In these roles, she managed over 100 IT consultants, drove high volume technical recruiting, managed outside sales and delivered customer-focused account management. Connie is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, a member of The NYS Forum Procurement Work Group and a former member of the IT Corporate Roundtable.
