Identity theft is a growing crime. Between January and December 2005, Consumer Sentinel, the complaint database developed and maintained by the FTC, received over 685,000 consumer fraud and identity theft complaints. Consumers reported losses from fraud of more than $680 million. In today's society, anyone can be a potential target of identity theft-from our children to our senior citizens. Don't become one of the statistics!

The webcast discussed what identity theft is, how to avoid it, along with the steps to take if you may have become a victim.
