Human-Centered Design
October 26, 2016 10:30 am - 12:00 pm (10:00 am Check-In) NYC Department of Law 100 Church Street, New York NY Webex available for this event
Do you and your team face the challenge of producing effective customer solutions? Centering solution design on the needs of the human end-users results in successful government services.
Human-Centered Design (HCD) is an approach which can be applied to many kinds of problems. The HCD methodology is based on highly collaborative, visual and hands-on techniques. Utilizing the HCD methodology promotes successful solutions by developing a deep understanding of users' needs, challenges and behaviors.
In 2013, NYC DoITT received intensive training in Human-Centered Design to encourage comprehensive analysis, ideation, and decision making at the onset of a project. In this session you will have the opportunity to learn of Human-Centered Design based on the DoITT experience.
