The "Success with Data Analysis" series will demonstrate how a state agency is effectively using data to inform operational decisions. The content will be beneficial to agency program and business staff as well as technical staff interested in developing successful data-based programs.

This continual process improvement case study will demonstrate how the Department of Tax and Finance (DTF) Business Tax Bureau achieved success based on proactive data driven adjustments and improvements.

You will hear how the necessary data elements were identified for the project and the development of reporting to examine and analyze the project data during implementation. The case study session will include an overview of the project goals, planning and data gathering processes, implementation, post-evaluation review and how the bureau incorporated changes based on the ongoing analysis of the data.
