Presentation Overview:

Have you ever wondered how to meet your executive management's reporting needs while trying to manage a project that is using Agile software development? Find out the answer to this and more at the upcoming NYS Forum Agile and Waterfall Session. This session will include a 30 minute presentation including a discussion of how and which components of Waterfall and Agile overlap. This will be followed by a one hour panel discussion for questions and answers.

Session topics will include:

  • The various project roles and how they are utilized throughout the project. (Project Manager (PM), Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Development Team member).
  • When to use Agile, when to use Waterfall, and when to use a hybrid approach
  • How to leverage the flexibility of Agile, while maintaining the accountability offered by Waterfall
  • How to satisfy executive management's reporting needs while working on an Agile project
  • Tips on budgeting Agile project work
