Disaster Planning For Local Governments Webinar

Continuing to provide services to the public after a disaster requires careful planning whether you rely on paper or electronic record keeping. This session will help you understand the important considerations and provide simple tools to assist you in planning for such contingencies.

This non-technical session covered the basics of identifying critical government functions, determining the resources needed to continue in the event of a disaster and developing a plan for recovery. Ideas for intergovernmental cooperation were discussed and planning for follow up sessions conducted.
