The NYS Executive Forum: Statewide Financial System (SFS): Transforming the Way New York State Does Business

The Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program is a New York State government initiative to replace its over 25-year-old Central Accounting System and several agency financial management systems with one integrated statewide financial management system. Currently the largest public sector ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation in the United States, the SFS will enable New York State to conduct its fiscal and business management tasks more efficiently, while enabling New York's control agencies, the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) and the Division of the Budget (DOB), to perform their constitutionally separate oversight functions - all within a single, integrated environment. The SFS will be deployed statewide in conjunction with business process improvements and standardized best practices to reduce state costs and improve government performance, integrity and accountability.

Speakers:

Michael McDermott, Change Manager - Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program

Alison Pingelski, Deployment and Business Lead - Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program

Connie Rowe, Deployment Manager - Statewide Financial System (SFS) Program
