Dr. Mackey and Ms. Hermann explained that the development of curricula for e-learning content involves everyone at the Center for Distance Learning. They emphasized the need to ensure that those responsible for creating online content are aware of potential access issues. In addition to clarifying terms and definitions associated with people with disabilities, the presenters highlighted emerging "web 2.0" style tools that the College is integrating in online learning and stressed the link between student success and access to learning materials.
