The Challenge

The questions "How much?" and "How long?" must be answered during all phases of the project lifecycle. Imperfect as they are, estimates are needed and used to drive business decisions.

But what are the pieces of information required to develop and refine an estimate? What techniques and tools are available to assist the process?

The Seminar

This seminar provided an overview of:

  • The necessary components of an effective estimating approach,
  • Awareness of the many estimating techniques as well as the strengths, weaknesses, and best use of each, and
