PMO Roundtable Meeting Registration

The original Charter of the PMO Roundtable - a Special Interest Group of the Standing Committee on Project Management - states the following:

"In the belief that implementation of Project Management disciplines will promote and sustain project success across the State, the PMO Roundtable is established to:

  • share best practices in implementing NYS Project Management methodology;
  • promote cross-fertilization of ideas on methodology implementation;
  • facilitate practical applications of The Guidebook;
  • assist each other in discovering and perfecting approaches for establishing, operating and monitoring a Project Management Office."

The PMO Roundtable was envisioned as a forum for establishing partnerships, sharing knowledge, providing opportunities for professional growth, and having fun in the process of advancing each agency's PM agenda. The Charter limited the membership in this SIG to "NYS agencies that have demonstrated commitment to implementing Project Management by either establishing a formal Project Management Office, or undertaking an initiative under executive sponsorship to implement Project Management."

On June 19th, we will go back to the original format of PMO Roundtable meetings - a forum for sharing PMO best practices and asking for PMO assistance. Some suggested topics of this free-range discussion will include what the members see as priorities for the PM Committee, PMO Roundtable and PM Community of Practice for the coming year.

Please limit participation to one or two Project Management Leaders from each agency who "have actual involvement in PM implementation or PMO operations." See you at the meeting!
