Main Presentation

An Introduction to HTML5 and CSS3: Separating Rumors from the Facts

  • Overview of features in HTML5 and CSS3
  • How you can use it now and why you should
  • Resources, examples, demos, and how-to's

Craig Patik of DTF and Eric Steinborn of DCJS (both Webmasters' Guild members) will share their experiences using HTML5/CSS3. The session will provide a good introduction to the topic along with good reasons to start using them now, even when supporting legacy browsers.

Open Forum Session:
We'll devote the second half of the meeting to an open-floor, barnstorming session on topics of interest to our members. We'll gather ideas on topics for future sessions, other ways for the workgroup to collaborate, things we should do more, things we should do less, and things we shouldn't do at all. Also, if anyone has a "mini-presentation" or brief topic they want to add to the agenda, we can accommodate it here.
