Environmental Bond Act – Power Apps

The Environmental Bond Act Office’s (EBAO) Data Management Tool (DMT) is a Power Platform system that facilitates the intake, tracking, and management of project data for over 1000 projects across 10 state agencies/authorities. Since its first rollout in late 2025, it has streamlined how project/program managers provide their data and how EBAO staff track, manage, analyze, and report on that information. The Power Platform architecture has allowed for the rapid development of new modules to respond to emerging business needs.
 
In this demo, Daniel Weinstein, a Business Systems Analyst in the EBAO at DEC, will discuss how and why his office decided to pursue a Power Platform solution, give a walkthrough of the system’s main features, and show an under-the-hood glimpse into how the system was built, architected, and how it continues to evolve.
