Michael Deutsch - Chief Information Officer, Associate Commissioner at NYC Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD)

Michael has over twenty years of IT experience in NYC government.  Micheal spent the first  fifteen years of his career in various IT positions at NYC DOHMH.  After a short stint in the private sector,  Michael joined DYCD five years ago as CTO and has been leading the agency as CIO and Associate Commisioner since 2017.   He is reponsible for transforming the DYCD to a digital platform, and enabling the use of data by DYCD as an asset to alleviate the effects of poverty and provide opportunities for the communities served to flourish.

Michael has an MBA in IT Administration and Management from New York Institute of Technology and a BS in Computer Science from CUNY - Brooklyn College.  Michael also holds numerous Microsoft technical certifications
