Enabling record linking across disparate sources – strategies and recommendations for de-identified record linking in modern data analytics

There is currently a need for data analytics solutions to be able to relate/link records across disparate sources in a de-identified way. Join Jesse Roberts to hear about what the most important needs and considerations are when tackling this issue. Jesse will cover key strategies and the pros, cons and other considerations to think through when choosing how to address implementation of this need.

Guest Presenter:

Jesse Roberts - Amazon Web Services

Jesse Roberts is a solutions architect with 24 years’ experience as a developer, analyst, DBA, architect and executive. He worked for 20 years at Boeing before a brief data architecture stint at General Electric after which he joined Maximus as an architect and then Vice President of Architecture before joining Amazon Web Services in early 2020. Jesse has a passion for helping others solve problems with IT solutions. Outside of IT, Jesse is a co-founder of the Rensselaer Repair Café and serves on the Board of Trustees for Woodland Hill Montessori School where he is also the makerspace coordinator and teaches students coding and other STEAM skills.
