The NYS Forum is supporting a Toastmasters program to provide a professional development option for our membership. Toastmasters is your opportunity to develop your speaking, leadership and collaboration skills in an encouraging peer environment.

What is Toastmasters?

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills throughout the world. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the organization's membership exceeds 300,000 in more than 15,800 organizations in 149 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. 

The Toastmasters Curriculum

The Toastmasters program provides a professional learning experience with a time tested, experienced syllabus and well-developed educational materials. The materials cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of speech preparation to advanced study in areas critical for professional growth.
