Please join the NYS Forum Information Security workgroup for a follow up to their session held during the NYS Cyber Security Conference 2021.  Due to time constraints of the session some of your questions remained unanswered.  Conference speakers from Trendmicro, Splunk, CDW and Checkmarx will be online to answer these and any follow up questions you may have.  Here are some questions that remained unanswered:

  • Are there any recommended security frameworks or tools available that can help developers as they are writing code?
  • How do you feel about a potential hybrid/balance of both zero trust and defense in depth strategies?
  • As linux system administrator, we invest about 50% of the time deploying patches and trying to keep all environments up to date.  How can we ensure that all these downloaded prebuild mini VMs meet the level of security of the underlying OS?
