Generative AI is in high demand, but many organizations also have worries about safeguarding sensitive data and reducing risk in AI applications. Additionally, SLG agencies have to deal with the difficulty of managing sensitive data across different applications, locations, and endpoints while making sure they are properly classified and protected. Cybersecurity and privacy teams also want to enhance their data security strategy. This session will help you learn how to start your data security journey as you get ready for generative AI, and how you can improve what you may already be working on.

Leo Ramirez is a Principal Technical Specialist at Microsoft and helps customers meet their use cases for data security, privacy, compliance, and risk. He is an avid learner and has over 20 years' experience in Information Technology. Leo has an extensive background in consulting and delivering solutions to meet customer's infrastructure, security, and compliance needs. Leo has technical strengths in data security, risk, and privacy. Leo holds certifications such as CISSP, iAPP CIPM, Microsoft Cybersecurity Expert, and Microsoft Information Protection Administrator. He is also progressing towards a Master's degree in Cybersecurity/Data Privacy at Albany Law.
