April Agenda:
Responsible AI: Understanding the Risk

Guest Presenters:
Claire Bailey, Public Sector Chief Security Advisor, Tanium

Chris Cruz, Public Sector CIO, Tanium

AI is a hot topic across the world right now, and state governments have already been leveraging it in the form of automating tedious processes, introducing chatbots on public-facing websites, and more for years. However, new types of AI are constantly pushing the boundaries of what we thought previously possible; making it clear the need for guardrails. As government agencies and vendors incorporate AI into their cybersecurity and IT operations stack, now is a good time to understand the art of the possible, and plan for its responsible use.

This discussion will explore topics and important questions all state departments should be asking such as: what is our governance structure around AI? How can it help us? How can it hurt us? How can we use smart AI and smart automation in reducing noise in cybersecurity and IT operations management to help government agencies stretch their already-tight resources for staff, technology tools and time?
We hope you can join to listen-in on this lively discussion.
