Microsoft CRM Dynamics – Community of Practice

The NYS Forum, Inc. has launched a Community of Practice (CoP) around CRM Dynamics so that agencies can optimize use of the platform and share their experiences using the tool. Participation will allow users to understand the functional capabilities of CRM Dynamics which will help agencies implement more impactful solutions. This is an opportunity to participate in trainings, panel discussions and hear about the successes colleagues at other agencies are having using CRM Dynamics. 

The next session will be led by David Lubetkin, Executive Director, Application Development at the NYC Department of Small Business Services.   The NYC SBS launched Dynamics two years ago and has been expanding its use since.  NYC SBS uses both Dynamics 365 on the Government Cloud for the back-office and Dynamics Portal (SBS Connect) for the public.  Topics include: 

  • designing a foundation for using Dynamics
  • building a reusable configuration across programs
  • successes/difficulties with implementation
  • integration with NYC business and connection to outside applications
  • demo of both the public and back-office implementation of Dynamics
  • rapid rollout for COVID-19 business recovery programs
  • business outcomes
  • the future of implementation
