Mehar Swarup, Senior Solutions Architect - Amazon Web Services

Mehar Swarup is a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services with 11 years of experience in cloud, system architecture and communications technologies. In his current role, he advises state and local governments to build highly-available, scalable, and elastic architectures to fulfill their business needs. One of his areas of expertise is designing solutions for constituent engagement using data driven decision making techniques and modern collaboration technologies.
Prior to joining AWS, he worked for 10 years at Cisco Systems, Inc where he advised customers around the globe to plan, design and build their communication infrastructure. Mehar holds multiple industry certifications including AWS Solution Architect Associate and Cisco certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
Mehar holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Communications Engineering. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and business and is currently pursuing his MBA from New York University’s (NYU) Stern School of Business.

As of February 10th Governor Hochul lifted indoor mask or vaccine requirements for businesses statewide.  Following the revised state policy, masks will be optional for NYS Forum events.  We will continue to arrange seating to observe 6 foot social distancing where possible.
